Straight Bullyism on 05.06.2009
By Stevie

Straight Bullyism is an adventure, turn-based fighting and character building RPG game. You're a bully in elementary school climbing the ranks of the underground bullying world. You can travel the hallways fighting other students and stealing their items, money and homework, or go to the washrooms and get missions from other bullies... whatever it takes to get through grade 6 without doing any actual work.

The name Straight Bullyism is based on the song, "Straight Gangsterism". The idea is that a bully is really just the young version of a ganster.

Progress:

Notes: Right now I'm starting to get into the fun part of developement; working on the plot, level design and cutscenes. Basically, I'll draw a bully in the washroom, animate a cutscene for him giving you a mission, design the level for that mission and program it all together, then repeat. A large amount of time is also going to be spent filling up the hallway with enemies, after I finish animating the 2/4 other common enemies I haven't finished.

Additional Info:

- I'm animating the entire game in frame-by-frame animation, cutscenes at 15fps and gameplay at 10fps. The game it self runs at 30fps if there is no lagg.
- From 5 to 10 minutes of cutscenes.
- At least 4 common hallway enemies with unique attacks
- At least 6 items
- At least 6 special attacks
- At least 5 different plot characters
