Uh Oh, Mono! on 01.15.2009

From the first day I went to the doctor they said there's a chance that I had Mononucleosis (AKA Mono), but I never really believed it. But I found out today, I do have Mono! The doctor said that I actually have particularly severe Mono, and basically when he shined a light down my throat, you can see it's riddled with layers of infectious soars. And I don't know about you, but in an average day I'll be swallowing like 1000 times, and every time I swallow it irritates them and makes it worse. I also have swollen lymphnodes, so I've got these painful bumps all over my neck as well. Not to mention throwing up, diarrhea, not being able to sleep, feeling shitty all the time, etc. He said that in his opinion - although I could somehow recover faster - I'm looking at 2 months of being sick, and a month or two after that of feeling really tired and weak, and not really being able to do shit.
I'm in grade 12, and normally I wouldn't mind missing a bit of school, but at my school we're doing our summatives (large projects worth 15%-30% of our marks) half way through the year; right now when I'm too sick to be in school or even to do it from home. Not to mention plenty of other assignments. I'm too sick to be doing Flash too, but for reasons further down in this post I'll explain why I'm forcing myself to work. But like, I currently have 26 credits (I passed 3 years with 8 credits each), and I'm taking 6 courses this year (and 2 spares). So, you need 32 credits to graduate from highschool, and I need to pass all 6 of my courses in order to do that. Going to be kind of hard considering I'm looking at missing months of school and all my summatives, and check into reality if you think I can do them from home; no fucking way, way too sick and way too much of a pain in the ass.
If you're a fan you'll know I've been wanting to work on Snubby Land professionally with Isaiah (who's probably going to have to step up a bit now) for a long time, and I've been ready to do it for a year since the site has been doing so well. I'm pretty much guaranteed to fail this school year (even though I have a 80% average), and I'm not a tool; I'm not going to be doing work for the remainder of the year, wasting my time, when I know I'm going to fail anyway. So in other words, in a couple months when I'm not sick anymore and I turn 18, I'm dropping out of highschool. Sounds pretty stupid but if you knew me and knew all the shit I deal with at school (and not just average teenager shit, you have no idea) you'd probably understand my reasoning. That and I'm making plenty of money doing Flash, which has been my dream to do professionally since I started.
Yeah so hopefully I didn't overlap my last post too much, but that's the story. Like I said, I want my work hours to be really good since I'm going pro soon, but at the same time, most of the time I'm too sick to even force myself. I'll see what I can do, but hopefully I can maintain an average of 3 hours a day, ideally though I want like 10. I've set up my laptop with internet so that I can use it while lying in bed, so basically when I'm not sleeping or too sick, I'm going to try to force myself to work on Flash. We'll see how it goes.
