Description:
Duck Luck is a cartoon series staring Stevie (AKA Snubby; creator of this website), as well his friend Duck and Freddy the Angry Hobo.
Stevie, Duck and Freddy live in a house together. Other characters have come to live with them as well, see #3 - Dire Dwelling where their neighbor is introduced, see #7 - Evidence where their former neighbor moves in with them (to hide from the cops), and see #8 - Tooth where Duck's brother comes to live with them (also to hide from the cops).

History:
Duck Luck is loosly based off of an old series we made called Bird Brain & Friends. The main character of Bird Brain & Friends, Bird Brain, had the personality of Stevie but the appearance of Duck (since he was a bird). There was only one episode of Bird Brain & Friends, which was a Christmas special made for school.
Duck Luck was created very early in Snubby's animation career, so his style and skills were not yet discovered. Duck Luck was first animated using FBF (Frame-by-Frame animation; every frame is redrawn), but in #2 - Stevie, the Angry Hobo and #3 - Dire Dwelling he used an animation method called tweening, inspired by his favorite animator Ed Atlin.
Episodes #4 - Financial Burdens (which was the first cartoon by Snubby to win an award) and #5 - Power Hour were created in the old FBF style, and episodes after that up to #9 were created using the Ed Atlin tweening. Finally, in #10 Snubby returned to FBF animation (inpsired by The Greasy Moose), after his journey through the other styles.
The music for the introduction used in episodes #4 and #5 was created by a random guy Snubby met playing online poker. Snubby invited him to make the tune when he heard him and his friend talking about making music.
Early episodes of Duck Luck did not involve any swearing or mature content, because Snubby's dad was watching all of the stuff he made and he didn't want to get in trouble. Also, he was shooting for a more Spongebob Squarepants field of humor, as opposed to Family Guy or The Simpsons. Later on, Snubby realized that what mattered was the comedy, and that not swearing was not his style. So in #7 - Evidence and every episode after, it was swears galore. In a tasteful way though (not).
Duck Luck first received its own Newgrounds Series Page after episode #8. That day was the day when Duck Luck truley became a series.

Characters:
Stevie is actually Snubby. He is the star of Duck Luck, even though the name implies that Duck is the star. He is the smartest of all of them, probably the most responsible, and he is Duck's legal guardian (as stated in #6 - Pie Eating Contest). Stevie used to work for the neighbor (as shown in #4 - Financial Burdens). In #5 - Power Hour at the very start Stevie implies that he is the one animating them when he says, "I was writing the script for our new episode..." which is something a lot of people don't understand at first.
Duck is loosly based off of 'Bird Brain' of Stevie's first, unsuccessful series, Bird Brain & Friends, who was also a bird, but not a duck. In early episodes of Duck Luck, Duck had a disturbingly deep voice and was originally going to be a super badass. Duck's personality later changed to that similar to Stevie, but less of a door mat. Contraire to popular belief, Duck is not the main character of Duck Luck, Stevie is. The series was just called Duck Luck because unlike real life, there is a talking duck invloved. If you want to see Duck without his glasses on, check out episodes #4 - Financial Burdens or #5 - Power Hour, in the introduction Duck takes his glasses off.
Freddy the Angry hobo is the loveable, stupid, badass bum that lives with the gang. In #1 - No Room for Rent, Freddy was just a television actor on the show Freddy the Angry Hobo, but in later episodes he stopped doing the show and actually was an angry hobo. It's just one of those things that doesn't really seen to make sense, but actually it does. Freddy the Angry Hobo was actually a reality TV show that secretly recorded Freddy's antics. That's why he isn't rich, and that's why he's actually a hobo. Freddy's job is just to bum money, but that seems to bring in enough cash for the gang to live in the house. Episode #2 - Stevie, the Angry Hobo is a take off of episode #1 because that was when they first saw the show Freddy the Angry Hobo. Freddy obtained the super-human ability to read minds in #5 - Power Hour, but doesn't really use them much.
The neighbor was introduced in #3 - Dire Dwelling when Stevie, Duck and Freddy bought a new house. The neighbor later moved in with them in #7 - Evidence after he accidently killed a bunch of children and also all the witnesses, because he then needed to stay with the others for cover from the cops. Like Duck's brother, the neighbor doesn't actually have a real name, he's just known as the neighbor, even though he lives with them instead of a neighbor to them. He's good like that.
Duck's brother was introduced in #8 - Tooth after he stole a giant, antique dinasour tooth from the Royal Dinosaur Museum. He then moved in with everybody so that he could evade the cops, similar to the neighbor. Also similar to the neighbor, Duck's brother doesn't have a name. He's just Duck's brother, and that's that. He also has a British accent even though he's not British, this is probably because he is just an insane criminal. Living in the house are 3 criminals (Freddy; theive and knife-wielder, the neighbor; murderer, and Duck's brother; theive and probably insane), but Duck's brother is probably the least dangerous of them.
